Don’t worry, I’m not asking for money. I just need someone to help out with the shadows. The code is available at the Codeplex page. I have been tearing hair out for the last couple of days and I could really do with someone else taking a look at what I have done wrong. Anyone fancy taking a look? For those who are on gamedev.stackexchange.com, I’ve posted a question here and I’ll be posting a reward of 200 points as soon as I can.
Also, if you’d like to be a member of the development team, drop me a comment.
Hi,
I also try to write my own deferred rendering (Light pre-pass) engine in XNA 4 for my game and I stucked on very similar place. I try to implement projective texturring (http://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/23808/projective-texture-and-deferred-lighting) but without any success. Perhaps we can together solve our problems. If you are interested please contact me and please be tolerant to my english. Vodacek (in middle of Europe)
Hi,
I’d be happy to help out. You can get my source code on the Codeplex page (http://projectvanquish.codeplex.com). Let me know where I can get yours to help out
I think that better way should be talk via email or another IM way. Comments aren’t effective.
vodacek(AT)zvb(dot)cz is my email
I’d be happy to help but I took an interest in this project as shading was beyond my scope.
Sorry Neil, I really am. The shadows were a game breaking bug in the rollout we attempted, hopefully they’ll be resolved soon eventhough I’m unable to contribute
I am still working on the shadows and am really hoping to have them resolved as soon as possible.
Hi Mash,
Just to let you know that Shadow Mapping is now resolved. Hope you can continue to use this project for your game.
